Monday 4.30.79 Daily Lottery: 263


Not much to do at work today P.P. I guess is in Cincinatti

For a convention

And is not expected back

Till Friday.


Good riddance.


Lost flipping nickels today.


Morgan came in lab

And took me for a ride

Out the bypass.

Has noise in rear end. I picked him up at Butterworth's

After supper Doris & kids came down

After we got back.

Worked some in morning

But mostly flipped nickels

Lost $2 I think.

Vic & Chris is doubling up on me.

Guess I'll quit tossing.


Vic spent most of day

Messing around with soft ball schedule

For his Kentucky Fried ball team


I wanted to cut wood in evening

But Shawn needed the car


Was quite lucky

With instant tickets all day Hope it continues

Till I hit a big one. Gave Chuck $7 for gas

To take sis to Brookville

Tomarrow afternoon.

And brought samples

So I was busy with them

Most of the day. Paul P. is still in Cincinatti.

I guess everything went ok.

Did not feel good

But went to luch

With Vic & Chris

In Vic's car.


We went to the Hitching Post

In Curwensville. Had a cheese burger

It was good But I was so sick

With a pain in my side

That I could not enjoy it. I worked on a channel sample

Winslow brought in

From Metrel Clay #2


Made 1" slugs.


Did not do much

In evening. Took Mildred for groceries.

P.P. came back today. Not much work to do

So we flipped nichols

Off and on all day I'm playing Daily Lottery heavy

As I would like to buy a new

Started the day

Eating at McDonald's

With Perry & some guy

I didn't know.

But he thought he knew me.


Payed the 78 taxes

That I thought was payed

Last year.

Worked most of day

In garden

And mowing front lawn.


It was a nice day

But a little chilly.


Had hopes of hitting daily lottery

But as usual didn't.


Watched some T.V. in evening.


Punk & Morgan went to Bud Broad's

Daughters wedding

In the afternoon

And we had the kids.


Mary was on call.


Went to put radiator

On Pudds car

And punched a hole

In the air conditioner unit.

Must fix it

And have it recharged. Vera

After talking to me

Called one of the commissioners

And he came over

And looked at the sewer

Out back.

Got up early

And drove around

Looking for a pick up

But really didn't find anything

That I wanted. Came home

And took mower

Out to sis's

And done her lawn.


Was working outside

When Morgan stopped

After his fishing trip

So we went up

And loaded a real nice load

Of horse manure


After he left

I (worked) it And done one flower bed

Out front.


Was tired.

So I went to bed early.


Dick Butler fixed the sewer

Out by Quarry Ave.

Hope it stays that way.
