Republicans: Same Ol' Song & Dance!

Trump's Big Beautiful Bill is just more of the same Trickle-Down nonsense from the Reagan days (once) the W. Bush administration (twice) and even the last DJT administration (and he's doing it again).

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said Trump's so called "Big Beautiful Bill" will actually save taxpayer money. Excuse me while I do a spit-take as I look around and ask, "Has nobody seen this before? Have we not been alive in America since the 1960s and... honestly... have we not eased on down this yellow brick road once too often?" "This bill does not add to the deficit," said Leavitt with an alarmingly straight face. "It's the largest savings for any legislation that has ever passed Capitol Hill in our nation's history." You know we're so far into Trump's upside-down that anyone who can take this White House seriously when it makes a big, better, best claim needs to up their dosage. Remember how we were gonna repeal and replace Obama-Care and we would have the greatest health-care? Well, never mind that the dumb bastard still doesn't have a plan in mind because, as he famously said once, "Who knew health-care was so hard?"

And now that we've firmly planted ourselves in the Twilight Zone of "Only two dollies" and one wash-cloth and a bit of gurel with dry-bread, can anyone please tell me who the jack-wagon is that's going to fall for this! Again!!!??? Jee-Zus. Listen. I'm'a tell ya straight. He's going to steal all the money - OUR MONEY - for himself and all the ass-hole billionaires he's surrounded himself with and pay for it on the backs of poor people. Because nobody likes the "poors" anyway and why don't they just die? This bill, which I refuse to call by its actual title, will, according to the non-partisan Committee for a Responsible Budget, increase the national debt by - get this - $3.3 Trillion through 2034 and increase annual deficits by $2.9 Trillion to $3.3 Trillion! Dollars! That's enough for free healthcare for everyone and free education for everyone 1,500 times over for cryin' outside. Just remember, folks, we're lookin' for fraud and waste. Fraud and waste everybody. "And the bill will generate an additional $2.6 Trillion in revenue over the next ten years through increased economic growth," Leavitt glowed. Almost a TRILLION dollars of what they term "savings" will come from cuts to the poorest Americans; $625 Billion in cuts to Medicaid, which provides health-care to 71 million low-income Americans, and another $300 Billion from SNAP (food stamps) which actually provides food for 42 million needy Americans. Friends. This is not "savings." This is fucking the poor. These are things our elected government spent money on. And you know what? We actually get something for it. How many times have I heard you say we ought to be helping people here at home. Well, these programs actually do it. And worse... EVERY... SINGLE...republican U.S Representative... from Pennsylvania... VOTED FOR IT. Of the 220 republiican U.S. Reps, they passed this bill in the dead of night by a total of 215-214. Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky and Warren Davidson of Ohio actually had the balls to vote no. Andy Harris of Marryland voted "present." Gutless. And David Schweikert of Arizona and Andrew Garbarino of New York elected not to vote. Cowards. Oh, sure, there's enough in Santa's bag to give you a brand new pair of sneakers, young one! There's something for everybody! They will try to make this feel better by putting in provisions like "No tax on tips and overtime." And they'll say you can write off $10,000 in interest from your car loan. (Well. What kind of car are YOU buyin' sailor?). And they'll up the child tax credit by $500.

But, you know, all of those little flavorizers are temporary. Say it with me now. Temporary.

But the Trillions in tax cuts for Trump, Bezos, The Zuck, and that Nazi-Saluting Punk-Ass Elon Musk? Oh, they get to keep those forever. That shit is permanent.

Alright. I will not admit to being happy. Because I've been here before, folks. President Ronald Reagan came up with the soft sell of "Trickle Down Economics." In a nutshell, it posited that if you gave ... like... a shit-tonne of money to really rich people that normal people would do great.

And guess what happened? You will never guess. They got all this money and did enormous stock buy-backs and helped .... Was it you? Of course not, dummy, they helped themselves!

Republicans only think government works when it gives THEM lots of money because that's what they think government is for. They really cannot stand for you paying taxes that go to... you know... FEED someone or help a sick person or act in any other way that Jesus would have asked you to.

W. Bush came along and did the same thing. TWICE! Lied us into the most costly and longest war in American history, deregulated the banking industry to the point that it, by the time he was tip-toeing out the door, capsized the world's economy which led to you taxpaying suckers being on the hook to bail out the world's BANKS. It took Obama eight long years of doing the best Jackie Robinson impersonation he could to ship that ship back into shape. And he did it without one lousy republican vote. So the guy leaves the house in good order and you knuckleheads elected Trump. And guess what he did. You are quick studies, you guys. That's right. He proposed giving all the money to the rich people would make Joe The Plummer Great Again. And they passed his tax cuts for the rich and guess how we regular guys did this time? Are we sensing a pattern, people? You bought Joe Biden, narrowly, because he seemed like a nice guy. And he was. Ask Lindsey Graham. And he got the economy going on the right track after COVID and basicly left the U.S. economy in arguably the best shape in the world. But he was losing it and you were cryin' about the price of eggs and so you voted for Trump again. And don't tell me the brown skinned multi-ethnic person didn't mop the floor with him in that debate; 'cause she did. Still, here we are. Both of us lonely. Inauguration day. Nothing but Tech Bros and Billionaires on the dais. Trump family heading out all over the oil producing world selling, selling, selling. And an Arabian Sheik giving him a $400 million dollar jet plane. Lovely! Ooh, and here's a rich Saudi golfing partnership!!!! Just the other day a bunch a crypto bros stuffed hundreds of millions into Trump's pockets just to have lunch with him.

Like you can't see the fraud and corruption, right? RIGHT?

So either you're in on the con, or you're the mark. We're all the mark here. Because they're doing it again. When are you people going to wake up? Just lookit all these rich old white guys on Capitol Hill. You know they're on the make. You KNOW it. But... It seems to me that the graft and corruption is expected. But now? They're doing it by robbing poor people. Actually hurting poor people for their greed.

This shit is sick.
