Monday 2.19.79


Daily Lottery: 396 Got up early today

And started the snow blower

As we had a good 12"

On the ground,


Had everything cleaned up

And was only 15 minutes late

Getting to work, Car not working good On the way to work. Perry was the last Getting to work. Chris went down to Paul P. As his car wouldn't start. I took Morgan for lunch At Town Tavern Then bought a coal bucket At feed store in afternoon. I think I made Chris mad When I said Paul P. Was his buddy. After work

Car would not start. Perry brought me home. I put grill in Chuck's car

With Mary helping. Took shower

Went to work with John Jr. today And 72 Hornet started right off. Morning went well at work. Morgan followed me

When we left at noon

And car stalled

Right next to Skate Station.


Morgan pulled me home Then I got Puddy's car

And met him at Town Tavern

Had lunch

And went back to work. Enoch is to be in tomorrow And I'll bet Mr. Palkovic

Will have me on the carpet

Before he leaves. Cookie & Matt went to mall

To get LynnAnn a gift

For her birthday.

Peach, Shawn, Dana & Pud Went to the mall also For same. Will do some bookwork.

Then to bed.

I used Puddy's car

To go to work this morning

And it started raining

So I stayed at work. Chris got are lunch.

(I paid.)


On the way home after work

Car heated up

And blew a freeze plug.


I just made it home

And that was all. Bob Enoch came in today

And I really was looking

For P-P to make trouble. This was LynnAnne's birthday

So Peach took us out.


Came home early.

Went to bed.

Called Perry about 6:40 A.M.

But he had alredy left

So I thoguth I wouldn't go to work

But John Jr. came

After Chuck's car for ins. On the way over

He lost one parking light

So I called and finally found one

At Harpster's in P-burg. John and I went over

At lunch time and got it


They had a Chiv Love 78 new

Sure would like to have it. Maybe I'll get lucky. P-P not saying much to me.

Chuck took me to work today.

Went to lunch with Perry and Stu

At Fish House.


Not much work to do today. Perry brought me down town

And I got 3 more Daily tickets.

I had already bought

5 Daily tickets on way to work

Which gave me 8 for today on 028.


I missed $4,000

As the number was 025.


Watched Roots on T.V.

And went to bed.

John brought me a new fuel pump

And freeze plug.

I shoveled some. John Jr. took off manafold

And put new gasket on.

We repaired heat riser And car did run better

But it still have problems.

Stopped for supper

Then left after 7 P.M. We put freezer plug in Puddy's car But it wouldn't start. We pushed it out on street. Will watch T.V.

Sunday 2.25.79


Got up about 9:00 A.M.

Ate breakfast and went out

And started trimming apple trees. After 12 I started cutting some limbs

Off Maple Trees out front. Got the saw stuck in once

And had quite a time

Getting it out. Daryl came up

And cut some higher limbs for me

Then he cut them up

And I carried logs around back.


Started raining But I chopped ice

Out of back spouting

Then dragged limbs out back. Took shower.

Watched T.V.

And went to bed.
