Monday 3.5.79


Daily Lottery: 505 Mildred to Brookville


Took 72 Hornet to work this morning

Sure running good. Mary called and said She could get off early So we both took off in the afternoon And took Mildred to Brookville To sign some papers Over her divorce. Rained hard all afternoon But the trip was nice. Will figure a good number

For tomorrow's PA Lottery. Maybe watch some T.V. And go to bed.

Work in the morning

Went quite well Vic was not in In the afternoon

As he had a very bad cold. Paul P. was in the lab

All afternoon. He always finds some way To make me feel dumb. I know I cannot take 2 more years of this gig. Maybe I'll win the lottery

And get out of this job. Hit the daily number for $80

Stopped at mother's

On the way to work

And received my $80

That I won on the daily lottery. Sure was nice

To see that money coming to me Instead of going the other way. Work went well. Stu is playing 518 today

Because I told him 581 looked good. Hope we both win. Paul P. wished me luck On the daily number When I left tonight. It's nice to know he cares. Well, maybe I can hit 2 days in a row. We'll see. Did not hit the daily. Maybe tomorrow.

Did not hit the lottery So I must try harder. My left leg hurt really bad This morning at work. Took some penicillin And felt better. President Carter flew to Egypt today

To try to settle the Egypt and Israel Peace Treaty. Not much to do at work

But I kept busy most of the time. Stu was not in today He is supposed to be with Bill Turner And will not be in until Monday. Are insurance lady quit And is going to work for Lezzer Lumber. I'll mail my premiums From now on.

Today was a real winner. Stu was not in today. Morning went quite fast. Perry and I went for lunch in Duster.

Ate at Fish & Chips. Then went out to mall. I bought a new planter And some head lettuce seeds. Perry left to go to the pit So Paul P said Lets play the ring tooss. So we all did

Until about 3 p.m. I lost about $1.50. Chris was the big winner. Took Mildred over town

About 7:30 p.m.

To get medecine.

Seen Vic and his girl

Riding around. Watched T.V.

And went to bed.

Daily Lottery: 433 Got up early

Went to town And bought a lottery ticket

For the day.

Did not win though. Spent most of the day Cutting up tree limbs But didn't get all of that done either. Planted 12 single head lettuce In cellar. Will plant more next week. First telephone message

Sunday 3.11.79


Spent morning cutting more tree limbs up

For fire wood. In the afternoon Mary & I took a ride Out through Goshen

And across Pleasant Valley. Back through Woodland. Nice ride. Stopped at Darb's And stayed till about 9:30 p.m. We ate over their. Jim & Beth and son came in. Beth sure look nice

Heavier in face.

We were all putting a puzzle together. Came home. Watched T.V. And went to bed.
