Monday 2.26.79


Daily Lottery: 290 Chuck took me to work today.

Stayed all day. Work went well. Seems like Perry and I Do most of the work. Paul P brought his car in the lab

And Perry, Chris & Vic Worked on it Till about 2 p.m. I ate supper And don't feel too good now. Feel like I'm getting the bug. Hope not. Daryl & Cookie & Matt Were up in the evening. Daryl got me new spark plugs

For '72 Hornet. Will put them in tomorrow night

Daily Lottery: 778 Everything went well at work. I took Chuck's car today Then picked him up at home

And dropped him off over town

Then picked him up

On way home. Perry & I made a showcase For Fatal Grams This afternoon. This was Chris 21st birthday. We got paid Just before leaving work. Mary & I went to P-Burg And used the night deposit.

We had Chuck's car. I put new plugs

Chuck took me to work today.

He needed his car.

Chuck came after me at noon

And we stopped at the ACME

While I got Mom some groceries

We needed. Chris was off today

As his aunt was being buried. Work went quite well today. I played the Daily lottery big

And really missed. Sure are sleepy tonight.

Will try to stay awake

Took Chuck's car this morning.

Stopped and got Chris & Perry and myself A hoagie at Nichol's Street Market. Chuck took me back to work. There was nothing to do at work today. Furnace heating unit was off And temp was about 60

When I got to work.


Home. Tried very hard To win some bucks But just can not.

Chuck took me to work today

And could not pick me up

At lunch time. Sure makes a hell of a long day. Not much work for me

To do today. Perry & Stu went (unknown) In the afternoon.

Came back about 4 p.m. I kept furnace heating Until getting oil afternoon

To keep it warm in lab. Chuck picked me up after work

And Darb and Shirley were at home When we got there. They left about 7 p.m. Will watch T.V

And go to bed. I hope to work on car tomorrow.

Daily Lottery: 035


Got up and went to town. Paid Gray's for parts received

The week before. Went to Clearfield Auto Parts And bought new set of wires

For 72 Hornet.

Also new dis. cap and rotor. Also got new bendix

For '74 Hornet. Finally got 72 running good.

All my trouble

Was a short in the distributor.


Layed in water

And fixed Puddy's starter. Punk and Morgan and family

Were down in afternoon.

Stayed for supper

Then went home. Had hope to hit the lottery

But bummed out. All in all This was a good day.

Got up about 8:30

But didn't do much

In the morning.


We went up to Punky's In the afternoon To see the puppies. Mary got called to work for 5:30

So we came home about 5. We watched The Story of Patty Hearst In the eveing.


Then went to bed.
